Birthday and calculator information
Birth dates entered into the calculators are processed by JavaScript in your web browser and are not sent to Fun Age Calculator to produce results.
After you calculate an age, the site may place the birth date in browser sessionStorage so another calculator opened in the same tab can refill it. This browser-only session value is cleared when that tab session ends, and you can clear it sooner with the Forget Birthday control shown with share options. Optional birth time is not carried between calculators.
Regular Share Result, Copy Result and Copy Page Link actions do not put your birth date in the shared text or normal page URL. If you deliberately choose Copy Reopen Link, the birth date is included after #birthday=. Anyone who receives that link can see the date. URL fragments are not normally sent to the web server as part of the page request, and the site removes the fragment from the address bar after using it to refill the calculator.
Visual result cards are generated in your browser. They can show the age result you choose to share, but the card itself does not print your birth date or include a birthday-carrying reopen link. The Birthday Calculator card can show a countdown and the age you will turn, but it does not print the calendar date of your birthday. A result may still reveal information about your age, so only share a card when you are comfortable sharing that result.
Server logs and hosting data
Like most websites, the hosting provider may keep standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page and request time for security, reliability and abuse prevention.
Analytics and advertising
The site uses Google Analytics through the Google tag with measurement ID G-11NNG10TK5 to understand visits and general site usage. Google may process technical and usage information according to its own policies and browser settings. Birth dates entered into the calculators are not deliberately sent to Google Analytics as custom event data. A birthday carried in the optional #birthday= reopen link is moved into this tab's browser session and removed from the address bar before the Google tag is initialized.
The site does not currently include display advertising scripts. If advertising or other measurement services are added later, this policy will be updated.
Contact messages
If you use the contact form, the site stores the name, email address, subject and message you submit so the site owner can review and respond to it. Please do not include sensitive personal information.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top will show the latest revision.
