What is a fun age calculator?
A fun age calculator starts with your real human age and converts it into other scales. Some results are broad animal-age comparisons. Others are completely fictional and exist only because Una thinks birthdays deserve more imagination.
Your actual age does not change. The different results are simply alternate ways to look at the same amount of time.
How do dog years and cat years work here?
Dog and cat ageing is more complicated than the old idea that one animal year always equals seven human years. Dogs and cats mature quickly when they are young, and later ageing varies by species, breed, body size, health and individual life stage.
This page uses simple life-stage curves to give broad human-to-animal age equivalents. The figures are for curiosity and should not be used to make veterinary or pet-care decisions.
Are fairy, vampire, elf, dragon and wizard years real?
No. Una made those up.
There is no scientific fairy lifespan, accepted dragon ageing standard or real vampire biology. The fantasy results use fixed Fun Age Calculator scales so the numbers are repeatable, but they are clearly entertainment.
